DANGEROUS WOMEN OF WRESTLING WEBSITE NEWS MAY 2009
05.01.09	Today, we start the official journey on The Reconstruction of The Dangerous Women of Wrestling. We have a lot of work ahead of us gang, and we’ve already started! Every D.W.O.W. show, appearance, event, etc... we will archive it all and present it on the web. For once you will see EVERY show, and be able to experience it as if it were happening. This Monday 05.04.09 we will release the first show “The Conception” from 09.10.99 in Allentown, PA. We know some of you may have purchased the download or the DVD “The Vintage Series”, but we can tell you that there are UNRELEASED matches and footage not shown on the original releases, plus we are editing and remastering the footage to try and lighten up the original dark video. We will try and update you daily with some kind of information or tidbit on anything surrounding D.W.O.W., and expect at least one new show addition every week. We know there were promises, or predictions in the past, but we can’t do anything about that today. All we can offer you is starting today, you will see a new Dangerous Women of Wrestling, one talent, one match, one show, and one fan at a time. We will strive to give you the ultimate in CUSTOMER SERVICE, something that in the past D.W.O.W. did not do well for whatever reason. Today, we will turn a new leaf, a new page in our history, and we hope you enjoy the change and the history of the most dysfunctional and entertaining Women’s Wrestling company ever.
05.06.09	Here is your D.W.O.W. update for today. First, we do apologize with not updating you with any information since the first of the month, but we are going through serious changes here. Look we can claim and proclaim “customer service” all day long, but in reality it is something that needs to be taught and re-taught, so we can get it right once and for all. One of the first things we have been doing in treating all back orders right now and trying to at least satisfy those customers. Like we said previously, we have WORK to do! Secondly, on Monday and Tuesday this week we have been drilled with two separate customer service seminars. Yes, we are that serious about this. We understand that things can not all of a sudden change overnight drastically, but we really are moving in a new and right direction. We also had a technical issue with our ISP this week (which had our internet down), and an issue with some digital editing (which slowed up encoding and finishing the first release) --both which as of right now have been resolved. There are sometimes bumps on the road to success, we have hit a few already, and are still blazing ahead. We will send out an E-mail update when the first update is up and running. We understand if some of you reading this are skeptical about some of the claims we have made already. Give us a shot, we will not let you down no more. If not today, maybe in a day in the near future. And one final note for now, several employees have been relieved of their duties and our staff is substantially smaller than previous. As business improves we look to add more staffing when needed. Be on the lookout for the service E-mail, and instant messenger info. Telephone customer support will also be available in the near future. All good things to come!
05.06.09	Please note that we will be redoing our shipping procedure in the next week, as we will no longer be offering free shipping. After research, it will not be economical to offer free shipping, and feel the new system will better serve the customer. We will be implementing the store with USPS and possible other shipping service modules used with our shopping cart. This will offer a fair, quicker, and more reliable shipping service to anyone who orders. We will also be purchasing some equipment to expedite shipping to anyone who orders (which will be a delightful change when implemented!)
05.07.09	We are finishing up on show #1 right now, as it should be live for public viewing, and consumption tomorrow May 8th. We are very excited to get this journey official started with show 1! 05.08.09	Still working out some video kinks encoding the matches. Soon everyone, soon this stuff will be out there. There is a lot to do with this project, we didn’t realize how much until we started getting in deep, it will (for now anyway) be a total work-in-progress. We look forward to buying some new equipment for the office to streamline shipping, plus help with DVD duplication. It has been hard work since we been at this for the last two weeks now, but we are ultra excited about being back and doing what we are doing.
05.14.09	Okay, okay we know we are behind already, but that will change --promise! For the record there are two people assigned to the duty of handling the site (part time), and it is much more work that we anticipated, and much larger than thought as we just maxed out yet another hard drive. We NEED much more hard drive space! We can not believe how many photos, audio archives, folders, graphics, and a lot of other stuff we found in the boxes of archived CDR's. We have great never-seen-before photos, clothed and not, candid shots, girls goofing off, kissing each other, and much more! The schedule around here has been whacky and we look forward to things getting regulated and soon to be running like a machine. 05.16.09	This is the first of what we hope to be two updates today. Yes, it is a Saturday and we are at the office working on getting this first show up and making it available to our fans. One of us is working on show one, and the other is working on shows two and three. We are aiming to be caught up-to-date this week with releasing shows two and three, thus making us on track on our minimal goal sheet. Stay tuned. 05.16.09	We are alomst there with a completed show one release. Currently updated the site with the story of and behind the show, with screen caps taken directly from the video. Remember the video quality will get better as the shows are released, as we upgraded our video crew back then. We still are working on gathering pictures and bio information, and the video links should be active soon.
05.17.09	Sunday, Sunday, Sunday. Yes, one of us is here to hopefully and finally get this first show up 100% today! Wish us luck lol!
05.17.09	We’ve just completed, and uploaded The Dangerous Women of Wrestling debut show, (digitally remastered I must add), “The Conception” finally. We hope to be caught up on all video-end products by Wednesday, and then to have all the talent profiles from shows 1, 2, and 3 available for viewing early next week.

05.20.09	So we have made a few changes to the site already as far structure especially when it comes to delivering screen capture images, and how they will be delivered in the future. The images for now will be 150 x 100 pixels, which we know is smaller that 720 x 480 --we have our reasons. Basically, we are making some much needed changes now as we begin and can follow through as we go, thus making it easier for cataloging, web design, and web marketing. Hope you have been checking the site for the free sample videos we have been releasing we are going to try and do that for each release. We are also working on an organization system for that, and quick results (for those of you keeping track). We are done with the second show as for the story, and pictures. We are just waiting for the final encodes to be done. The second show was a bit faster to get done, and we expect the third and other shows to come to be done quicker. Not only that but the picture, shot, and other things get better as we go from best recollection. We hope to be at least up-to-date on releases by the end of the month. We REALLY want to deliver when we say. As soon as the videos for show 2 are ready we will do a full update. Show 3 is being dumped this week too and worked on. 05.23.09	Happy Memorial Day Weekend everyone! We hope everyone is enjoying themselves and the nice weather we are having on the Eastern part of the United States. Please be safe, and remember those who gave their life for our country so that we enjoy the many freedoms that we have and take for granted everyday. We are uploading Show #2 encoded videos now, so we hope to have it online and available in the next hour or so --yippie! We have all the backend work for Show #3 almost complete, we just need the video. We are working very hard at delivering 4 shows for the month of May, and with only a few days left we are looking good. Plus we will have the first batch of bios and talent up too. 05.28.09	Only a few days left in May 2009! Will we be caught up-to-date with having four shows online by June 1st? We think so! We are in the process of uploading all the re-mastered video from “The Boss Says” 09.17.99 show, and we are editing the video of “The Boss Gets It On” 09.24.99 show now. We have the web pages and screen caps complete and have begun working on the profiles and bio pages. IF we can pull this off and have the site up-to-date on schedule, we want to announce a very vigorous challenge for ourselves and that is to FINISH all of the 1999 shows by the end of June 2009. The faster we can get the archives done, the faster we can possibly move forward with the company... which is very exciting! 05.29.09	We are happy to let you know that the third Dangerous Women of Wrestling show “The Boss Says” from Reading, PA is now available. 05.31.09	Here’s the scoop at the wire. We are uploading the VOD’s Show #4 “The Boss Gets It On” from Lebanon, PA. All the write up and pictures for Show #4 are up on this site, and we are currently working on the descriptions and settings for each match/segment for the show, for the store, which should be done before midnight. We are still a day or two behind on the bio pages, but they will be done before we continue with any further show edits on new-old releases. We will also continue to update the bio pages as we go. Again we have a ton of material to go through and we still have to locate files from staff photographers to make available to fans, all in due time. We are making due with whatever material we have available for now and will update and replace, if and when necessary. Considering the fact we got a late jump to start this month with numerous technical difficulties, a ton of work to due, we are almost on track. We promise to work even harder in the month of June on this site and are excited to share the history of The Dangerous Women of Wrestling with everyone. Who knows what the future will bring. We have a meeting and conference call tomorrow on two separate future possibilities for The Dangerous Women of Wrestling and will keep you posted when --and if we have something firm to announce.
